They were talking about how they couldnt find 19" DRs for the car but i dont understand why not just slap different rims with slicks on them. whats the point of taking the car to the track if you have shit street tires on a car with 1000+ rwhp
Im just assuming here… but if they didn’t go so far as to UPGRADE THE ROTATING ASSEMBLY, OR EVEN THE FUEL SYSTEM, then Im going to go out on a limb and assume that they didn’t beef up the rear end at all either.
1000+ whp & good slicks are not usually a good idea on a stock rearend. ANY stock rear end. I can guarantee that the factory wasn’t thinking that the GT would see 800+ wtq when they were deciding on what to do back there.
