I have a car trailer that needs a winch. The manual one I purchased didn’t last pulling one car on :banghead:, so I’d like to graduate to an electric winch. Where is the best place locally to find an one capable of pulling cards on to a trailer that will last outdoors?
Harbor Freight.
Hey Mike, give us a call.
675-3897 is our parts line
Cool, Thanks!
c-me marine sales also has electric winches, i’m thinking about one for the boat trailer…
winchdepot.com $360 for an 8000 lb winch shipped to your door with a lifetime guarantee
Tractor Supply has a 2500 lb (i think) winch for like $100. That’s what I have for my trailer. Came with a remote and a roller fairlead too. Is it the best winch you can buy? No. Does it work? Yes.
Mike, get something with atleast an 8000lb rating. If you ever have an incident where the car is not rolling well or whatever you still want to be able to literally drag it onto the trailer.
8000 lb winches are spendy. Just use a snatchblock. It goes half as fast, but you get twice the line pull.
we sell trailers with winches, and winches for trailers, so we can hook you up with what ya need.
