So I found a UNIMOG locally that has a 10 foot plow and dump bed. I only want to buy it if I can find someone to work on it. lol

im a diesel mechanic … other than oil changes and a rare valve adjustment … they really dont need service

Buy this please. As far as service, you might be limited to the benz dealer for some stuff (drive train, PTO’s), the engine they use in those things is pretty universal. The same engine can be found in snow groomers, and other heavy equipment that’s mercedes powered form that time frame.
you buy all the parts on the internet, and you buy a book. basic hand tools are all that’s necessary considering how few hours are going to be put on driving around your property, it’ll be like a big expensive lawn tractor that’s cool. they’re cake to work on.
