Who carries silicone couplings around here?

I want to get new ones for my CAI jim so let me know what u find

You should know that is an F body only coupler. One that NO WHERE local will have. That is why EBAY would be the best or you could pay $40 from SLP

i did i bought an FRE…

what make a coupler only fit a F body?

que? me and you are in the same boat, lmk me know broski

New Era has new Nick Williams 90mm TB $389 And the FRE 91mm in stock for $399
I think the NW 92mm TB cost for the same as there 90s, But I don’t know for sure if there the same retail? I just found out this week new era was direct with NW, I had to get one drop shipped for someone I traded some parts with, didn’t know we could get them.

I also have a lightly used FAST 90mm I’m gona sell on LS1 tech for $350

Can hook you up on the coupler too. The new era intakes for the GTOs, you have to cut about 4inch off 4 Ply high temperature 4 inch 90* silicone couplers, that leg that would go were the TB is if you look at a pic of the intake setup. http://www.neweraperformanceparts.com/Images/Products/Large/NEP04GTOcai.jpg
So there is a huge, like 30x30x30 box of these couplers sections that work great on Fbody 90 setups.
But they are also a coupler thats getting used, in the new G8GT OTR (over the radiator) intakes. So mike was saying yesterday hes glad he kept that many around, we were just throwing them out because there no way the shop need more that that huge box for local 90 setups.
Like on this cam only 425whp build

But if any local guys bought a 90 TB from mike and asked you could just grab one of those couplers. Just another reason why I suggested to support the local shops, over Ebay. Your not going to have any warranty/install support, with “ebay” that often ends up costing you dollars on the pennies you “save”… ok I’ll tell you, pat if you did get a FRE on Ebay, that TB has a thicker inlet and the OD is larger. than other 90mm TB’s out on the market. Mike notied it on the site. I dont think Ebay will tell you that. You can with heat/lube get a SLP bellow on. But it sucks, SLP puts that little 1/4x3/8 notch on the ends of there bellow, so guys notice it. And use to index it with the notch on the MAF thats cast into the clamping ring on the stock, and SLP 85mm MAFS. But on a FRE TB it will start to tear from the square notch forcing it on. and the FRE lip shape clamps weird with that notch. So coupler like the ones we use works better.

And JnJ, that piece of shit Ebay one you posted is a bellow. And wouldn’t even fucking fit on jt76 car. He has the nitrous plate like he said so his TB is spaced off the intake manifold, and closer to the MAF and LID. And it being a bellow it has the hump, so you can’t just cut it down to work like he says he need to. ANOTHER REASON TO SEE IF A SHOP HAS A COUPLER FOR ANY CAR, NOT JUST A F BODY BELLOW.:purextc:

what the hell is wrong with you. he asked about a coupler, not about new era builds

Did you read his post? He is saying that bellow’s coupler won’t work, so he SHOULD NOT buy from eBay, but instead get a regular coupler from Innovative, New Era, or some other place. He only showed examples of what ones work, so he has an idea of what to look for, since the one posted before WILL NOT work.
