It wasn’t anything serious. Issues = A boost leak, an unconnected wideband sensor (which we just plugged) and a useless catch can setup not to mention the installation of a badly needed stage 2 accessport. It wasn’t like it was throwing codes and stalling out.

Just to be safe mike did a compression/leak down test and it was 145 psi across the board with 1-3% leakdown numbers. :tup:

I tossed around the idea but honestly, to budget for a $50,000 car and still have the need for a winter car, doesn’t make sense right now.

jeez STI’s suck… i drove a cobb stage 2 08 STI a few weeks ago and tried to beat the crap out of it but it just doesnt do fun things.

it didnt even feel fast even though i know it is very fast around a track.

that’s just the problem with evos and stis, you have to go beyond retarded to have any fun, and when they do snap they often behave like FWD cars. I scare myself (in a fun way) more with my lame 200hp bmw than I could with my 400hp evo. (verified by the GF complaint gauge)

back on topic, the new STIs do look great in red and I’d love one for the winter.
