tell him to get used to beeing deployed,field ruck marches and the range…the weather in watertown ny is cold a lot also
but congrats on going to a real unit
i was in the 82nd airborne out of FT BRAGG…
so we saw a lot of the 10th mountain…those guys dont play around…

wait im trying to find out if 10th mountian is mechanized… cause he drives 105 mm paladins
they are light infantry…that means smaller more mobile units and equipment.

my cuz is a captain in the 101. he’s gettin some promotion in august, like gettin his own company or somwthing, i know nothing about about military stuff.
you usually get you frist company or as the military phrases it a command as a captain…
then the next command is usually for a battalion commander and that is a light coloniel…
