My friend is looking for a car as a winter beater for $500 or less. Must be in drivable condition and MUST be FWD and 5spd. She is learning how to drive 5spd and i suggested her not to get a RWD because of obvious reasons.

Don’t care what kinda car, as long as it meets the 2 requirements. Actually 3.
