You can buy aftermarket window trim pieces for less than half the dealer cost. Mine chromed on my last car so i decide to paint them. Then as soon as the weather got cold they stiffened up and the rubber part on top of the trim (part you can push against the window with your finger) started to come off in chunks lol. So don’t paint that shit.
