98 civic, d16 motor, 5spd/hydraulic. Looking for a trans, possibley a cable one also as long as its not a hassle to swap to cable

ya just found a kit for 150, so its kind of just worth finding the hydro. I cant find one for the life of me…local

$250 for a non-LSD D-Series trans is a rip off. The Ex/Si trans go for $200 TOPS, and thats pushing it. Lx/Dx should run like, $100, IF that.
Yea but they don’t look at it that way. They figure a low milage trans compared to a new trans is a great deal at $250. Just know what trans you want then offer them $50 less.
The last engine I bought there, I told him what I wanted to pay. And I left with it at that price.
well they dont have any d series 5spd’s in stock. Great… I thought civic parts were a dime a dozen, jeez! Any other spots i should look? Hopeing to have it this weekend if possible. Pulling this tranny today,

From the way that one is worded, I think thats the motor and tranny. Try bargaining with this guy, me thinks.

i feel u on that my boy just got ripppppped off with a b series cable tranny from great ol amsterdam…go figure.
