Since my Renault and the auto classifieds died at the same time but only the classifieds are back alive, here’s a call for a tasty winter beater/DD under $1200. Small cars are a plus, totally ideal would be a running hatchback w/auto but I’m also secretly jonesing an SUV so just hit me with what you want to get rid of. I don’t care where it’s from or how many miles are on it, and non-inspected is ok if it’s not a frame issue.

How about a 1988 Thunderbird Turbocoupe inspected until April 2008. Go on autotrader.com and do a 1988 Thunderbird search if you want to see the pictures.
In a few weeks (or sooner if my Civic gets fixed), I’ll be selling my 92 Accord 2-door 5-speed, hoping to get around $700 for it (high miles 238K, but runs like a top, and was just inspected last month).
