Just found out my 323 has low compression in cylinder 4 so I figured I’d check on here to see if anyone has or knows someone with an engine. I’m looking for the 2.5 but if you have everything for a 2.8 swap then let me know. thanks.

I found a couple 2.8s going for cheap money on e46 fanatics, but I see more of the regular 323 motors going for dirt on there too. The ones I found weren’t farther than Jersey either. I was just texting a dude in Jersey with a 2.8 he’s getting rid of.
BTW, is this an e46 or an e36?
Check on CL - ‘bmwjoe’ posts stuff all the time- I believe he’s got a m52 up for sale currently. Previously he had an m50tu, but not sure if it’s gone or not yet.

i sent him a text this week asking if he had anything that would go in it and he said no. maybe he thought i meant a 2.5 engine
joe didnt have a 2.5 but gave me a great deal on a 2.8.
Good - if that’s the m52 he’s had for sale for a little bit - keeps me from thinking about the possibilities. :tbu
