well, it appears the 6 year old JVC headunit in le cackord has spun its last cd. im looking for something ~$200. it has to be mp3 cd compatable, and have an aux input. rca outs for a sub/amp are also a must. a cool feature i would enjoy would be an sd card reader/usb plug as well.

lmk if you have anything that fits that description before i go to best buy.

NO SONY XPLODE EFING POS HEAD UNITS PLZ

edit- a single din flip out would be nice, and i would be willing to splurge for that :slight_smile:

I have one of the newest pioneer models… i believe its a model 3900 or something like that ill check for sure… nothing ridiculously fancy but very, very nice… excellent sound and a SHITLOAD of settings… $115… will get pix and more info if interested

Jam I just bought a deh6900UB for I think $237ish CC had them on sale they might still be. So far by far the nicest headunit I’ve owned(not including screens).

Overall i’m impressed

i have a JVC KDAVX1 i am looking to upgrade. Has remote and ipod connector. Plays DVD’s, WMA/MP3 CD’s and DVD’s, Sub, front, and rear output. 5v preouts (selectable from high to low voltage)

only problem is it has 1 dead pixel on the screen. i’d get rid of it for like 150. Has original manual, and works perfectly. i just want a double din nav unit (probably a d3).

bump, my pos XPLODE head unit in the bimmer is pissing me off

im going to pull the one from le cackord and put it in the bimmer, need a cheap one for le cackord

lmk what you have kicking around. mp3 cd compatable would be cool. ubher cheap would be even cooler

i have this one, doesnt play cd’s though. controls IPOD. I mainly just plug a 6gig zip drive and it plays right off that
