As said in my D16Y8 thread, honda motors that dont have a knock sensor apparently dont like 87 octane with boost. My cousin is now in need of a motor, so let me know what you guys have. All I want is another D series motor, it doesnt have to be VTEC, but if it’s not VTEC I want a Y7. Otherwise I dont care.

i got a complete y8 with 120000 miles may need valve work askin 500

i just put it in my car and swapped a z6 head on it so i would have to take my head off and give u the y8 head with it that needs valve work but i cant take no lower than $350 let me no my # is 518-630-2258 call anytime

Unless you need automatic y8 intake manifolds/tb’s and a/c compressors, im broke on parts sir.
This is a serious matter, there is a young man that remains civic-less as we speak! We are wasting valuble time dickering on a motor that should have a $200 tag 
150$ and you get a working non Vtec D16, with 190K on the clock, runs like a champ.
Still in car, can start for demonstration prior to pulling.
