this thread makes no damn sense. a d16y8 is a sohc vtech motor they never would have a non v-tec dist. you need to be more clear. is it a y8 dizzy your looking for or a non-vtec?
iirc the obd2 d-series have the same distributor, so it really doesn’t matter…
