I am also looking for a flat panel monitor, but I need one with a resolution
of 1600x1200 to match my laptop (15 or 17" would be best since my
laptop is 15.4", and I love running dualview)

The Hyundai ImageQuest L90D+, arguably the BEST LCD on the market and Tom’s Hardware Editor’s pick, which he also uses as a reference for testing 19" screens goes for about $450.
Average prices for a 17" are about the 300 dollar mark, 400 for a 19". For those kind of prices I’d expect one hell of a premium monitor, not an Acer.

Edit: Sorry to butt in like this, when it’s a car part, everyone is always jumping and shouting if it’s a ripoff, I just happen to know computers well so I took the liberty of helping out fellow members get better prices.

Staples dude… Seriously, there’s 3 high quality panels going for 3 bills. A Samsung, a Viewsonic and a BenQ.

Edit: Oh, they’re cheaper elsewhere, but I happen to work there, so that’s why I know the prices there. Canadacomputers and Tigerdirect have even better prices.
