Anyone on here know of a decent place to get truck warning lights? Gonna be doing a couple of small commercial plow contracts over the winter and by law i need one. Theyre wicked expensive and i dont want a junk rotator one either, i might as well buy a nice one if im gonna get one. The brand sho-me leds are sick. Anyone have any tips or if anyone has a sweet hook up with a distributor in the area or something like that let me know, thanks.
also on a side note, my 2004 truck came factory with chevys snow plow prep package. on the dash near the air bag on off key way there is a button specifically setup for an auxilliary light…does anyone know where the pig tail comes out for that button, ive looked all over in owners manual and online and cant find anything, just what that button is not where its leads are…thanks for anyhelp.
Try Tractor Supply
not a bad suggestion
Best bet is to google where the connection is or call a dealer
yah i was gonna stop at denooyer on monday, fuckin googled it like ten times never found shit. haynes and chilton manuals dont say shit and truck manual just tells you what the switch is and that its relayed and ready to rock, just doesnt tell you where. fuckin GM
PM Gatville, he picked up a nice blue set for his friend. He might remember the website, I dont :lol
The pig tail comes out of the 3rd brake light. I’ll have to look if I have a light laying around.
sweet man i appreciate it, once in awhile when its like dead quiet in the truck and you hit the button u can hear it like power on, but i could never figure out where lol so u just pull the third brake light out and what theres a positive and a negative or is it some bullshit GM pig tail that i gotta buy the matching side to?..yeah let me know what ya got on the light…
thanks, will do
Yea it should be a plug. If you need one let me know. I get them for free from my work. We use those connections on the busses.
