WTB: NISMO EXHAUST

i was wondering if anyone knows of any importers that will be able to get me a nismo exhaust system for a nissan murano. thanks in advance.

NICE! Someone find one for my Mom’s car too…I’m sure she won’t notice!

What i would recomend personally, would be to check out the fx35 (similar platform to the murano) and see if the system is compatible, cause i am pretty sure they used a bigger piping than the murano. not to mention the GROWL :E

also check out www.4x4parts.com they are the best source to find all nissan truck and Suv parts.

haha sorry i did not answer your question

thanks for the quick response’s guys. pyrexxx, where you the one that took the the MO autocrossing? i’ve found a few places that offer the nismo exhaust and a couple others but price wise they mostly over 900 bucks american.

Yeah, I sure was, although since it was my mom’s car I didn’t thrash it too badly! The CVT makes autocrossing very difficult because when you are off the throttle it is always trying to drop the revs down. However, the brakes were fantastic. I’m not sure many of the cars out on the track could outbrake that Murano, which is impressive considering how much heavier it is than a 240sx!

Fortunately I didn’t get a chance to experience a crash test up close when I had my close encounter with Matt’s Buick! :E

Murano and FX platform no where close to similar, the FX platform is more or less the G35 on an suv platform.

The Murano’s platform is on the Maxima’s. You can probably get away with an exhaust from a Maxima’s.

if i was to take an exhaust from either the maxima or 350z or even the fx it would take a whole lot of pipe work since the inlet to the rear muffler is on the drivers side as compared the passenger side for the murano. platforms are all basically the same on the maxima, g35, murano, and fx. there just “reworked” to fit the needs of the vehicle they are put under.

or you could just have a new exhaust system built like i did, your own size pipe, your own muffler, and where ever you want the tip to come out.

i chose that route cause trying to find exhaust systems for not so commonly upgraded suv’s is not the easyiest or cheapest way to go.

it would end up being similar (maby a bit cheaper) cost but it would be exactly what you want
