I need a fairly grippy street tire for my Miata that can get me though a few months to a years time at least.

i was about to suggest this. its a nice tire and it better than the azenis. its also a very very wide 195, so dont be alarmed by it.

I ran those on the street. The H compound is good for it.
You would have to go really low to make it worth it for me
