I need a steering rack for the Silvia…must be RHD w/ Hicas. It can be sourced from a RHD silvia equiped with Hicas or a 180SX type-X which also has Hicas.

IIRC the hicas rack has a slightly quicker ratio than non-hicas.
ive never ever seen a coupe/silvia with a hicas setup oem.

Well my silvia is equipped with Hicas, It tore a boot on my rack and the soot and road shit got into it and ruined it before I took notice so I actually need a Hicas rack. FYI my car has the “twin cam turbo intercooled” thingy written on the side of the car. I’m going to eliminate the rear hicas setup but the car isin’t drivable until I repair the front rack so I NEED one.
you dont NEED a hicas rack, a non-hicas will work fine if you dont mine sacrificing the slightly higher ratio.
