I’m looking for some 17x8 or 17x9 wheels 5x114.3, I don’t really care a lot about how they look. I’ll also be looking for some AutoX compound tires i.e. A6’s or V710’s…but I’ll settle for a track tire if I have to. I just want them to heat up quickly during short slalom runs. I’m in the process of buying KoukiS14’s - S14, so the budget will be very tight for wheels/tires. I’d like to see what you guys have, I’ll be buying something within the month, before the car ships. Also possibly looking for some seats.

Hey thanks man, they’re a little pricey based on the fact that they don’t have the compound that I want. If I’m going to spend that type of money, I’m almost in the range of cheap wheels + r-comps new basically.
5zigen FN1-OR or w.e are dirt cheap and wide.
Yeah after 2-3 days of browsing a bunch of forums, I think the key issue is going to be the rubber. I can find cheap wheels almost anywhere, but the sticky slalom compounds are harder to find.

I would check tire rack as well. Good purchase, That S14 is sick nasty and is idled by half of SON
I’ve been getting a similar reaction on the local forum since one of my buddies decided to let it out of the bag early. It will def be the-most desirable ride around this summer, as the scene out here is marginal. Thanks for the advice, if anyone happens to come across some track wheels, please let me know.

Agreed. A few of my buddies just got DLR camera’s this winter, so they’ll be up for some shoots when the car arrives. Downtown St. John’s in the night is a great place for pics.
BTW: I just talked to Samson he is packed with wedding stuff. Shipping would be pretty expensive as well UNLESS you can confirm something asap and it gets shipped inside of the Kouki coming to you.
Thanks again, I’m not sure how he works, and if he actually has the ability to order what he wants or if he just sells what’s available at the time, but he RE-01’s are again a street “cheater tire” and not quite an r-compound. Something like an A6 would have a treadwear of 40 as opposed to 140-180 (which is still good) for the RA-01’s.
I’ll see what I can come up with in the next few weeks, I’ll be waiting until April for the shipping company anyway.
