badass man!!! thanks a ton dude!!
10pt OZ/BBS/RH/KINETICS split rim tools received today from Germany.
8mm 10pt male
8mm 10pt socket
10mm 10pt socket.
HOTDAYUM!
looks like the vw/audi, axle bolts pattern. if so german auto parts sells them
No. Those are triple squares.
IMMADBRO
Ordered an OZ tool set that fits 99% of all split rims with 10pt fasteners. Decided to give it a test fit tonight…
…
I’m sure you know where this is going. Superleggera iii’s are the only OZ wheel that is 7mm instead of 8mm.
Unobtanium.
(No clue if anyone is following this…but I’ll keep it updated).
triple square scockets
HEY, do you read the threads at all before posting? It’s been mentioned a few times that these are not triple square/XZN/12point fasteners. They’re special ten point fasteners…
Back on topic…that blows.
heres a guy who sells them https://www.facebook.com/fifteen52
813.505.7910 chris lane is his name,
tell him you want a oz rim bolt tool. should be about $125 shipped. he is in usa.
i just wanted to say it again. ill post a smiley face next time so you dont get rude.
No. No he doesn’t. He has been out for months. I can provide a copy of the email from him last month if you would like.
You are not comprehending the issue. I ordered the full set from OZ. I have the tools that that dude usually sells. I have the whole set. Does that compute?
These wheels have a SPECIAL special fastener that OZ licensed to TireRack. To obtain this smaller OZ spline tool is nearly impossible. The regular OZ tool is 8mm 10 point. These wheels take a 7mm 10pt.
You are no help. Your 10 minute uneducated google search is not necessary. Can you locate me a fluorescent tube bender? I need one badly.
^ glad I’m not the only one here in this thread thinking this :lol
FINALLY, got it!!
I have the OZ Opera II.
I tried the 8mm 10point tool, and its not 8mm. I need the 7mm.
The 7mm are impossible to find. At this point, I am thinking of going to a grind shop w/ the wheel to get the tool made.
I tried lasertools.co.uk and they replied back with below. They make the 8mm tool.

Thanks for the info.
I have been asked for this tool twice before.
Sorry be I think you would have to go to OZ for that.
I believe these wheels are rare and discontinued (tell me if this is wrong) so I am struggling to get a bolt to get a tool made to fit.
If you have a spare we could have I could get the tool but I’m sure you want to keep them.
It can take a good few months the get a tool made.
The 5663 kit are much larger than 7mm and are for the older BMW lock nuts.
Anyone know where I can get this?
I tried Chris you guys mentioned in the forum.
He only carries the 8mm…
Someone please can you get me the 7mm?..
Thanks.
Good luck. You won’t find it anywhere.
I will rent mine. PM if interested.
thanks. I pmed you. waiting for your reply.
After this experience, that will be the last OZ wheel in my possession.
So retarded who the hell in their company thought of putting such
odd shaped bolts, while advertising they are modular.
No point if they are modular, when you can’t take them apart.
The wheel repairer and I both never seen this with a wheel…
Not w/ Japanese wheel makers, or even other European wheel makers.
RIP OZ.
They don’t want you to take them apart.
TireRack is an authorized refinisher for OZ…they buy those rights.
I got super lucky when I located the tool.
Who are you using to refinish your wheels?
OZ isn’t the only company to use proprietary hardware…I would be skeptical of any refinisher that didn’t know this.
It’s not possible to just get them out and replace them? There has to be something that can get them out, even if it fucks them up.
