WTF !!!! India....

Did I read that correctly? An actor died? If ANY actor died, I would care zeeeeero percent more than if it was just some guy down the street.

Exchange rate of 45 rupees to the dollar. 1 rupee there has the buying power roughly same there as a dollar here.

IT people make a very good wage there so the costs are 1/5 NOT including the overhead above your “regular” pay(I use a baseline of 25%) so it’s closer to 1/6 as expensive per man hour.

Some of those cost savings are offset in lost productivity trying to deal with communications barriers. Even with that, a back office cost savings of 70% vs. purely domestic employees is hard to ignore.

Some companies also have requirements as to how much work/production must be offshored. Your bosses aren’t going to miss those targets.

Thats because american’s are some of the laziest workers.
Yes it should be that way to have so many days off after a few months to restore “batteries” American companies don’t do this and they actually loose money because workers get disgruntled and don’t give a shit…

And I am one of those workers… I’m a hard worker but I can also be very lazy

But we had to hire 6 of them to do what one of us used to do.

see previous post…

I’m not lazy…

Yes… That was because of an actor…
