At the time of hire… each Indian gets 30 days off per year… this is to be used how they see fit… Vacation, sick days, whatever.
They take WEEKS off for Holidays.
They can only get married when the sun and moon and stars are in perfect order…<- that is not a joke… it is true. And when the sun, moon and stars are aligned properly, they need 30 days off to get married. This of which they only need to give one day notice as this their “culture”.
Never extend your left hand to an indian… it is considered an insult as they wipe their asses with their bare left hand.
None of them own cars, so Kennametal is forced to pay for Taxi’s to and from work, for each employee.
new mothers get 3 (maybe 6) months off work… < that one I am jealous of.
The woman are not permitted to be at work, alone, without a female security guard on the premises. If the Security guard does not show, the woman must go home.
Woman are subserviant to the men, in the Indian culture, so if a woman needs to tell a man no in her job, she has a really hard time doing that. This causes things to be done that should not be done. < could cause system / network failures. < but this is their “culture”.
many of them are denied access to the country, so, to save money… we fly our people over there to train??? still don’t get that.
The former CIO doesn’t trust them yet, so he wants an American presence over there at all time. Again, saving money how?
