You’re absolutely right. But you dont know how old they are or what they have been through. Mine is brand new. It doesnt have more then 2 hours of play time total.

Id rather burn it then sell it for $75.00

Actually, there is a build date code on the bottom to tell how old it is, along with many ways to tell which revision the board and DVD rom drives are. The Pawn shop here also lets you hook it up to a TV if they have one in stock.But anyways, I would replace the only componant that would wear out anyways (hard drive) and I would put 0 hours on it before I cracked it open to mod it. Good luck selling, I had to try.

It’s on the main street of Beaver Falls. I drive past it every day. I’ll get the name/phone number. I can’t think of it off hand.

So what if it sat on the shelf for 6 months? You still dont know how old the thing is or how much wear and tear its been through. Just because you know when MS made it doesnt mean it will last. In a pawn shop you have to worry about how old the HD is. Mine, you dont.

Yeah, I understand totally. I’m just sayin it could be 4 years old for all i care… I’m would just basically gut it and rebuild it as a modded box… Actually, in this case the OLD ONES ARE PREFERED. (other than the DVD drives) If you change your mind about the fire situation let me know.
