Its a weird number. Are they really .25 wider all around or is it just a weird xxr way of measuring?
They really are that wide. XXR says it’s for “the perfect stretch” err
sounds like a marketing gimmick… the 8.5 is not an O.D. measurement anyways so i suppose 8.5" wheels are technically 8.75" wide or thereabouts.
if these were not XXR i’d be into them 
for the price they’re pretty redic. what are you replacing them with?

It is truely 8.75 as I measured them out of curiosity. The length of the barrel is 8.75 excluding the lips.
XXR has stepped up their game. These weigh a mere 21lbs.
