Here is a little explanation of it, its not as cool as it seems:
That’s Tunnels. We just watched that episode a couple weeks ago. My father-in-law records that show to DVD for us (plus lots more). That thing with the styrofoam walls and people have to fit themselves through isn’t done every episode though, although its my favorite thing theyre doing these days. Tunnels is a two-man comedy group consisting of Takaaki Ishibashi and Noritake Kinashi. They’ve been on TV since the late 80’s I think. Tunnels was already on when I lived in Japan from 91-93. Back then they used to do a great parody of Soul Train called ‘Soul Tunnels.’ The stars put on black face and people danced. Probably couldn’t do that on American TV, huh.
I so want to set one of these up at my house though! :headbang:
