Technically it was a 1988 Plymouth Reliant-K, but it was actually my parents.
The first car I MYSELF owned, was a 1991 Geo Storm wagon… metallic blue, rust holes that were patched w/ bondo and primered black (I did it myself!), 180K miles, and finally blew a headgasket. I loved that thing to death! I saw one recently, but it was white!!! I wanted it so bad!

1969 VW Bug Convertable… we restored it best we could ourselves, new chrome, new top, we painted it PINK 
in our side yard under tarp w/ wagner home sprayer :eek: new carpet, new seats, new running boards new hood…
then new engine back fired thru the carbeurator (sp) caught the engine on fire, the roof on fire, it dropped down and caught the interior on fire and burned to the ground 
The guy who installed the engine refused to take responsibility (come on 8 miles on new engine and the fucker blows up???) so we had it towed to his shop and put it in his front yard…good advertising for the VW restoration business :bowrofl:
