a buddy of mine hurt his back at work (had to get surgery and go thru all kinds of shit) and got around 100K for his settlement.
he invested in Alpacas and is making some GOOD $$$ off of them. He doesnt even touch them… just bought them and sent them to a farm for someone else to raise them/shave 'em/sell their wool/ect

when i was going to school in utica they had tv ads all the time to start an alpaca farm. rediculous low budget commercials, one had a man claiming he gave up being a surgeon to raise alpacas because they’re magical creatures.
