It’s funny that you mention the car being apart as I recently heard a funny story related to that.
A freind of mine that is about 40 years old is going through a divorce. He has a cherry mint mid 70’s Monte Carlo. Before he even got to talk to the attorney, he took it all apart and scattered the peices throughout his garage. So when I asked why, he said it was because the car is worth nothing when it’s in peices and that won’t be acounted for as an asset.
