He’s saying that the change in flow direction will be >90*. Which is true. I’ve never seen someone refer to the angle through that, and not by the angle b/w the pipes though.

if you wanted to recreate that shape with a cnc bender, you would need to put a 120* bend in it.
it’s an exhaust pipe. The route the exhuast takes is priority, not the bend from pipe to pipe.
