want the biggest tire i can fit on stock 17 x 9 wheels

i already have pro stars 15 x 10 with 325s on them but wanna keep the stock look.
What do u think?
The 295s should have no problem fitting on the rim itself since my Cobra came with 275/40’s stock.

cant see the pic at work, but ill take your word. Where did you get them from?
that’s a tall tire! Looks like it fits good though.
It’s tall and Kens car is slammed (2"+ Drop I believe) and it still clears.
I run the 275x40 on stock 17 X 9 wheels with no issues. I am thinking about the 295 next time around.

this is my problem, im puttin these on a stock ride height cobra.
I do not want tons of wheel gap.

They are taller, but that is what I wanted to help with severe traction issues. Being that it is taller than a stock tire, the wheel gap will not be nearly as close to what it is with a stock tire.
Measure from the ground to fender lip, and then measure the gap between the tire and lip. We can figure out your gap without buying anything

right to stockers are like a 26" tall. and the 295s are just over 27.
where should i buy a pair?
Summit Racing has decent prices on them.
