Hello everyone,
I am the third owner of this 2003 VW Jetta 1.8T. Took ownership of the car at 69k miles and have a clean title in hand. With that said, let’s get right into it…
Current Mileage: 99,198
Maintenance:
-Oil changes every 3k miles
-Front end links
-Spark plugs
-Front swaybar bushings
-Transmission flushed
-Battery replaced
-At 80k miles the timing belt, tensioner roller, tensioner assembly, idler roller, water pump, accessory belt, thermostat and thermostat housing, camshaft and crankshaft seals were replaced.
-Starter was replaced last month.
-Continental DWS 215/45/17 installed in 10/2013 (tires have less than 5k miles on them with plenty of tread on them).
-Bosch wiper blades replaced in 10/2013.
-Car’s current inspection sticker is good till 10/2014.
Mods:
-Unitronic Stage 2 chipped
-3" catted TBE (OBX DP) with Wayne angle block installed.
-Spectre intake
-Ecode headlights
-ECS Tuning blind spot mirrors
-Lowered on Rokkors
-White Long Beach wheels
-Front and rear cross drilled and slotted rotors (ECS Tuning on front…can’t remember brand on rears) combined with Hawk HPS brake pads.
-A pillar mounted Glowshift boost gauge.
-Hardwired Escort Passport 8500 X50 radar detector with remote mute switch installed.
-Extended antenna for better key fob reception.
The Bad:
-Sagging headliner
-Rust developing on passenger side quarter panel (see attached photo). Tried to get fixed at a low end body shop (horrible mistake on my part) ended up with paint drips.

I am only in Rochester two weeks at a time. With that said, I’ll be in town till 7/5/14 and hoping to sell the car before then. I won’t be back in town till early August and will be leaving Rochester for good shortly thereafter.
