Less than a couple thousand bucks, and with the market we are in…small cars are going to again, be a hot commodity. Get one now, before they start demanding sticker for them.
you might want to look for 07’s because they don’t have tpms. tpms makes it a hassle to change wheels/tires. Each time you change wheels you have to buy 4 tpms (50bucks each) and get it reprogramed (about 80 bucks at the dealer)
I read that you can change wheels, like put snows on for example and the light will come on but once you put your stockers back on the light will go off.
I am really leaning towards the Civic Si. Just curious how much to expect a dealer to drop down one.
I found a 09 with navi system for 22,400. Going to see if they can track one down without one and see how good they can do on the price.
Any advice? This would be the first new car I would be buying from a dealer. If the honda website has them suggested starting at 21,800 what do you think is reasonable to try to get?
I worked at don davis honda for a little while, the MAIN reason that I left was honda dealers generally DO NOT mark down there prices very much…
I would (on a 08) snag the offer if you can get 1500 knocked off…
On a 09 however, forget it… there in no hurry to mark them down
A “starting price” is a BASE price, ie: 2008 honda civic si with NO OPTIONS… your price of 22.4 is msrp w/ options, (with out taxes etc.)
If you do NOT understand how to buy a car/ do research then BRING SOMEONE who has a lot of expearence…
I just found some info on it. The dealer invoice price is $19,422 on the 09. The honda dealer on Transit had a 2 door Si but was priced at 21 and change. Dont think they would come down anymore. I would have jumped on one if they were in the 19’s
