In all honesty, you can get $1000 for it not knowing anything about it, but thats it, not a penny more.

Its a 1982-1985 Toyota Celica Supra MKII.

2.8L Twin Cam Inline 6cyl

They were never intended to be turbo motors, with a CR of 11-1 stock, a turbo would suck on a stock engine.

They are R-52 5spd Transmissions, many Toyota Truck guys like them cuz they are stronger than stock R-50’s the trucks came with.

RWD, 90% were LSD 3.73 rear ends

cant ya just read the VIN off of the car? isnt there a small piece of metal etched with the VIN riveted to the vehicle? preferably on the dash near the front of the vehicle, or possibly in a door jam, or under the trunk carpet?

• False, stock CR is 8.8:1 in 82-83 and 9.2:1 in 84-86 and HKS and Spearco offered both single and TT dealer add on kits installed. The 5mte-u motor came turbo stock in europe and Japan models.
• False, all 5spd mkii’s came with the w58 tranny. A43D was the only available auto trans.
• False, 3.73s were least common only available in 82 and some early 83s. 4.30s were the most common.

This car’s an 83 if anyone cares.
