I’m going to be scrapping the shell within a couple weeks. Finally sold all the performance parts I had accumulated over the years of planning the build that I ultimately abandoned.
I was offered $200/ton for scrap, so about $350 +/- total.
I’d rather see it go to an enthusiast with interest of making it something great than have it sit in a yard for eternity, so if anybody can beat that offer and arrange for pickup, it’s theirs.
It’s originally a Florida shell, and other than surface oxidation…its’s very rust free. Obviously it will need paint since it’s a 23 year old car. I don’t think it has the original paint job still, but it will need paint work in some spots.
I’ve been parting it out for some time now, so it’ll need a lot of parts to get running/looking good (front bumper is a bit haggard, no wiring harness, no exhaust, no ECU, etc)…hence me likely resorting to scrapping it.
Note: The car comes with a blown motor, and it only has one of the turbos.
I’m also open to selling individual factory parts off the car. I have all relatively new carpeting, all new speakers and head unit, full interior, etc.
The car likely won’t have headlights, a rear diff, or brakes, as I’m planning on selling all those separately.
Finally, the car probably won’t have the stock wheels. The stockers have practically new (less than 1000 miles) Hankook Ventus R-S2 tires on them, and another local Z owner expressed interest in the set…it’s just a matter of me finding a set of crap wheels I can get to toss on the vehicle in their place.
PS: Hi everybody! I’m still alive and well! :-*
