I will start with saying that I do not want to sell the car right now. It runs as perfect as it has in the time I’ve owned it. I received a decent sized scholarship I didn’t think I would have gotten prior to this week, and long story short, it has given me the chance to move back onto campus with the reallocation of some money. In order to minimize unexpected expenses, I’m looking to sell the VR-4. So here we go.
1991 Mitsubishi Galant VR-4, #1389/2000.
179k miles on the car.
Mods list:
Evo III 16g turbo
2.25’’ hard intercooler piping
Front mount intercooler
2.5’’ full exhaust
560cc Injectors
Hallman Pro Rx manual boost controller
recirculated 1g blow off valve
Autometer white face gauges
tuned on SAFC II
So that’s it really. Price is negotiable to a point, the PO was in a HUGE rush to sell me the car (he said he really wanted a bike) and needed the money in order to buy it. I have more time, but to a point. Any interest, just PM me. I allow test drives, but for those with cash in hand. It was hard to joyride my old CL, this is a bit easier to joyride IMO :lol
Thanks for looking, I hope to see the car stay local!
You called it. A lot more has changed than I ever dreamed possible in the past month. Its kinda exciting. My day to have a fast car will come when it is supposed to.
Thanks guys. If anything, this car has reminded me why I love fast cars so much. It also reminded me how much I hate fixing little things that break when I don’t have time to fix them. I’m looking forward to the day when I start my first real job and have the money to do what I want to whatever I decide to buy.
This is exactly why I went from the 240 to the MSM, then onto the evo. I’m done trying to make old slow (or sorta fast) cars faster. Shit breaks and what not. New stuff costs money every month but is far more reliable even under modding. I like your mentality.
