The following car is currently available through a supplier in Japan - the price is 278,000 yen FOB, which should work out to be around $6,100 landed including estimated costs for shipping, import duty, GST, AC tax and our service fee (excluding registration/inspection costs)

The initial payment should be around $2,700 for the FOB price of the car, plus $1000 for our service fee. Payment for the ocean freight would be due when the car has been shipped - the remaining fees for local port charges, import duty, GST and AC tax will not need to be paid until the car arrives in Canada.

how long would it actually take to import one of your cars on your website or do you have any stock in ontario?

The import process can take anything from 4 to 12 weeks from the time of purchase, but it’s usually around 6 to 8 weeks to land in Vancouver from Japan … inland transport to Ontario can be another 1-3 weeks depending on how quick the transport guys work.

We do not keep any stock either in Japan or Canada at all - our business is purely concerned with helping our clients find and import a car themselves from Japan.
