Description: As follows

Hey all,

My brother is selling his winter beater VW Golf CL.
5spd, 4cyl gas, no power steering, has a cd player, no power options, manual sunroof.
According to the clock it has 406,xxx but the odometer hasn’t worked since he bought it 2 years ago.

Barely any rust at all on the chassis. Paint is good, slightly faded and chipped from stones. New windshield and whole new brake system for safety 2 years ago.
Interior is near mint with no rips and clean of stains, etc.

Right now the car doesnt move. No battery right now.
Car died on us when we hit a railway track and hasnt worked since. Battery charge light was on from Pearson Airport to Cambridge and then died over the railway track. Alternator was VERY seized due to timing cover shredding and falling into the alternator. Replaced the alternator with a used piece but it still ran on charged battery power only and died again between Cambridge and Guelph.
Basically we have no idea why it won’t run.

Selling as is for $700 obo.
Needs to be gone by end of next week, so we’ll take whatever or we’re going to junk it.
Perfect, and I mean PERFECT car for engine swap.
Car is currently located in Cambridge.

PM myself for any further info.

Thanks for looking.

hey man i can take this car off your hands on friday if your willing to let go for 300

Ill go $450, otherwise its not worth it for us.
We owe money to the dealer if we go too low.

Take it or leave it. We have two potentials on GenDub looking at it this week. If they are a negative, then it goes to the junker.

Its up to you!

Thanks for posting,
Chris.

pm me im interested let me know if you still have it
