1993 Mazda RX-7 Touring Roller Black/Tan

Year: 1993
Make: Mazda
Model: RX-7 Touring
Price: $5500
Mileage: ~142,000
Color: Black Exterior, Tan Leather Interior
Location: Latham, NY 12110

Been going back and forth on this but when it comes down to it it makes sense to let it go. Money in the bank will do me a lot more good while I’m in law school then letting my car sit in the garage for 3 years while I have no money to touch it. I want to build an fd but it will be years before I do because education comes first.

Condition of the car, it is complete minus the engine, transmission, driveshaft and ppf. The wheels that you see are the ones it will come one I don’t have the stock wheels. They are 18" riax in the front with bald tires and 17" american racing in the rears with snow tires that are still usable. Mainly they make the car movable. There are a couple dents on the drivers side rear 1/4 panel that I tried to show in the pictures and one in the drivers door. The paint is old and while it doesn’t have to be repainted it will never be show quality without a repaint. It has the normal broken interior pieces, which come with the car, and the drivers door handle is broken. Pocket lid on the drivers door is in good condition though.

Basics:
Touring Model w/ R1 rear wing (had the front lip, now on my miata)
~142k on it, i don’t know exact millage, tried to find out today and I guess because the engine harness isn’t plugged in it wont show on odo.
Almost a Complete Car.
Passenger side speaker cover isn’t broken, whoever did the speaker install did an awful job and it always stuck out so I took it off and never got around to fixing it
The car is originally a souther car, it was purchased the summer before I got it and brought to Maine, then I got it mid winter and is now located 10 minutes north of Albany, NY in Latham, after 10 months of owning it it blew up and has been sitting for the last 2.5 years.

Pros:
OEM Tail Lights sprayed to look like 99+ lights
Tien S.Tech Lowering Springs
Wiring Harness for a stereo install
Engine Harness comes with the car (one last thing you have to find)

Cons:
Exterior drivers side door handle is broken
Interior passenger side door handle is broken
Drivers side seat belt doesn’t recoil, it can be taken apart and fixed, I did it once before, but it only lasts a couple weeks of daily driving before it breaks again
Rear view mirror needs to be re-attached
Drivers side window switch cover is broken off, but windows still go up and down from the drivers switch

I’m trying to be as thorough as possible but if you have any questions feel free to ask. The price is not very flexible, I do not have to sell but it doesn’t make sense to let it sit and wait for me to finally be able to afford to build it in a few years. I feel my asking price is fair for both myself and the buyer. Feel free to make offers though, the worst I will do is say no, I am just trying to avoid low ballers.

every one of the linked pictures is black, for me.

flickr hates shift, they seem to work on every other forum i posted on.

What did you do with the motor and tranny? I thought you blew the motor but it was still in it.

hasn’t been in it in a couple years, sold to a kid down in brooklyn to be his spare motor

Damn actually selling it huh? Pry a good idea if law school goes good and you pass the bar, you’ll be able to have 10 FD’s in a couple years haha. This is perfect for a ls/2jz swap that I would love to do. FD’s are by far my favorite body style period. GLWS man I’m sure someone will buy it

yea, my plan is still the same, build fd after school. just will be a different one. after having a good offer and then the kid backing out i realized that it doesn’t make sense to hold onto it through school. even though i have plenty in student loans this would be a nice buffer to make sure i only stress out about school and not money. i’ll buy another shell after i have become a lawyer, but the one i get will be a lot more stripped down then the one i’m selling. this one only needs a 13b + tranny and it will be good to go. obv if someone isn’t going the rotary route they will need more.

wow i wish i had the money. I’ve been looking for a roller for awhile and unfortunately when i don’t have the cash here pops up a good one. Been wanting to do the same, build a fd from a roller, but keep it rotary of course. Couldn’t ruin such a nice car… Wanna take payments?

pm me you’re bottom dollar price

only way i would ever consider payments is if you give me a huge chunk of cash up front (at least half) and the car and title stays with me till every cent is payed off.

Lmk when he’s coming to look at it tomorrow maybe I’ll swing up

damn it i just saw this now, he was here 3 hours ago lol

Car is sick dude. Almost bummed I’ve got my eyes on something old and slow. :lol

if youre talking about the old Thunderbird they actually had an optional Paxton supercharger from the factory so get one of those for it

There were less than 2k of those, only in 57. Still slow.

u need more mazdas in ur life, less old less slow.

Doesn’t get much slower then a RX-7 with no motor LOL

cars light, can push it faster then a lot of other cars without motors.

Towing gti there now for motorless racing

we can start at the top of the street lol

I will paint the hood, bumper and fenders on my scion TC and mount them. You finish assembly (headlights, bumper, radiator, condenser, mirror, rear hatch lift handle, small shit, just labor) ill supply parts, materials and tools. You sell it for whatever you want, and we trade titles when it sells.

05 Scion TC, 118Kmi (IRC, I know it wasnt more than 130, just havnt looked at it in forever) 5 speed. Stock minus gay cold air intake that came with it and tien sport springs. KBB is $7700, plenty sell on CL for $6-7k still.
