1995 Maxima GXE for sale

Hey gang,

My Dad gave me his 95 Maxima rather than trade it in on his new one. I had hopes of fixing and driving it (I did my road test in this car way back when). I’ll add pics shortly, just wanted to stop putting off selling the car.

I’ve got 4 other projects on the go, and realistically will not be getting around to this car any time soon. I’ve already sourced out all the parts to fix it, and it would be inexpensive (minus labor, I don’t charge myself labor) and I’ll gladly pass on the information to get the parts for cheap.

It’s a 95 GXE
Emerald Green
Stock Hubcaps (I do have a set of Longchamps I was going to put on it, may include)
Under 300,000km - (270,xxx I think, will look closer)
Grey cloth interior, no rips or stains
Non smoker

Not mint - this was a family car all its life. It has a few nicks and scrapes, a tiny bit of surface rust was cleaned up in the wheel well, but the near-match paint my dad got from the dealership doesn’t even come close.

The Bad
Transmission – I honestly don’t know 100% what’s wrong with it. 1-4th work fine, but when the car is cold, it hesitates before going into reverse. I have a feeling it’s a valve body issue. When my dad took the car to the dealership, the mechanics suggested an overhaul of the valvebody would fix it.

I can get a tranny for cheap, so I was just going to swap it out rather than waste time trying to fix it.

Power Steering crapped out. I had the car sitting for a couple months before I moved it, and it decided to dump all the PS fluid out. I’m assuming again it’s something minor, likely a seal dried out from sitting.

The Good
My dad was nuts for taking this thing to the dealer. It was serviced its entire life at Nissan, and has a lot of new parts - upper bearing plates, struts, exhaust, e-brake cables, brakes, etc (I have all the receipts, will go through them)

New Potenza rubber

Passed E-test with flying colors last time tested. Don’t see why it wouldn’t cert.

I’d like to get $2,500 for it. I would also consider repairing the car for an interested buyer. I just don’t have the time to give this car the love it deserves. Will consider a package deal with the Charger.

Email or PM is probably best to get in touch with me.
