like the title says , friend owns a 1995 mustang GT and he DESTROYED his tranny, and now wants to swap in w/e will work and is trading the car in
supposedly this year mustang uses a T% that has a diferent input shaft length ? like 3/8 longer or something
what will fit so he can repair it cheap and ditch it ?
Rebuild it if he didnt crack the housing at all…P&Js did mine in 4 hours for 500 bux.
just get a built t5 t56 swap isnt easy wand automatics arnt fun
this tranny right now is basicly just a case, and im not even sure thats good
so again:
is it true that this year T5 is longer?
if it is / isnt longer, what transmissions will fit ? any t5 ?

Yes, SN95 Mustang T5’s have a longer input shaft. If this is okay the rest of the internals from other T5’s will work. Take a look at D&D for more details…http://www.ddperformance.com/
