Skidmark — Upclose & Personal

Sure. I’m a designer from Oakville and I work out of Toronto. I take the GO train as I wouldn’t want the KLMs on the car. It’s been my baby for around 7years now, and it’s more than a little sad to let her go. I think I’m completely becoming the suburban family man. I’ve got the CRV, the 2 kids, and the long commute. The company’s giving me a VW Station wagon, so the only thing left for me is to start wearing black dress socks pulled up to my knees with shorts and sandals! Actually, even while I write this I’m thinking that it sounds kinda comfortable.

My only regrets are that I didn’t do all the things I wanted to for my black beauty. But at least maybe I can find a good home for her.

Well, my baby’s gone into the brave new world. It’s sad when they’ve grown up and left the house, but I’m also proud she’ll one day reach her true potential. Her new owner’s pretty cool and loves her as much as I do.

Thanks to everyone for you support and all the PM’s I received.

Skidmark is now the proud owner of a VW Jetta TDI Wagon. Yes the transformation to a suburbanite is almost complete. The socks and sandals are next.
