small rust developing on left front fender
CEL on due to rear o2 sensor ( i will replace with pending sale)
abs/traction light on due to corroded wires on right front wheel bearing. (abs sucks anyways)
driver seat doesnt move (havent checked into it)
right rear window doesnt work (needs motor)
Motor went from Series 1 SC to Series 2 SC (no parts interchange)
Front and rear body changes (fenders, grill, bumpers, trunk lid, tail lights, headlights, body cladding)
HUD Changed
Door panels Changed
Instrument cluster and harness changed
Trans Changed (possibly could work.)
The body, door shells, and most of the interior stayed the same, but there might be small differences in things like seat wiring and connectors. You can swap some parts separate since hte body shell is the same.
i was just looking for interior tid bits. the clips arent the greatest on the door panels. just little stuff that irritates me. i put it up on gmforum but that seems like a dead forum. ill try the other two thanks!!
no, unfortunately this is the only option it doesnt have.
i purchased it from a older man he bought it in 98 i think? and he drove it from lp to batavia for work. i bought it with 147k in aug 09. he kept up on all maintenence on it. i put the mani and the smaller pulley on. the power steering does seep out. i have to add every 3 mos. i havent seen any other leaks. it has new shoes and drums in the rear and new rotors and pads. i put in new plugs in feb. has newer wires. i did a tranny flush and a new filter at 150k. i used synthetic dex 6. new fuel filter. i replaced the UIM and LIM. i used the metal zzp gasket. i replaced both tensioners. the w/p was replaced by P/O.
i need to put in a rear o2. it has a 2012 inspection til jan.
the abs light is on because of corroded wires on the r/f bearing. i was waiting to replace when that bearing goes bad.
the drivers seat doesnt move. i dont know why. the guy i bought it off of was my build so it fit.
