Yeah so… I was told that the 1998 180sx kouki (240sx fastback for us) in japan had a more modern interior and that the gauge cluster was of modern design too.
I wonder if someone can find pics? I’d like to see it… It’s apparently rare/etc…
Well I found it, it indeed is newer aged, although not completely modern hehe, but way more than the ones we have on s13s… i hate the white needles and olden font style, etc…
^And of course the digital climate control that many crave for versus the ugly switches/knobs/gorilla buttons hehe…

I love our clusters…their so simple and simetrical. Take yours apart paint the needles with transparent red and add some diff bulbs behind the cluster. It will only cost you 20 bucks or so and a bit of your day.

I think it’s a fun project to do, you don’t woopie do. Something different for a change. Stick to a 70s style cluster, I thought I’d share a potentially fun project that everyone could benfeit in the long run (eg; after a few experiments and a few prototypes, able to mass produce them for group members).
But forget it, no point when people are acting like a buncha imature douche bags about it.
