Alright so what does this thing need? I need a winter car in the worst way.
Just the exhaust doughnut (some rubber exhaust gasket) if you want it to not sound like some spitting water like a 5 year old.
Needs shocks, alignment and a good cleaning.
Shifts decent, no grinding.
Heat works.
AC does not.
Burns a little oil, leaks nothing at all.
Still gets 30-35 mpg, no check engine lights. Passes inspections like a champ.
DO IT!

i inspected it this past year and the car is solid as fuck. still goes up in the air on a 2 post lift with no dicking around to find lifting points.
Truly an elite beater.

FUCK I was hoping your BMW-turned-replacement-truck search would drag on further. I can’t believe this thing lasted more than a couple days on craigslist at that price.
