I am basically selling this for my mother. Times are tough and she now is driving my brothers camry. Need the cash to make house payments.
Cliff Notes: She’s owned it for 2 years, basic maintenance new knock sensor and serpentine belt and inspection. It’s not perfect but she took care of it.
Price: $5,900 FIRM
Everything you need! Platinum Series - Power Everything and Automatic
Clean title and bill of sale!!! Currently NYS inspected as well. This has been my mothers vehicle for about 2 years and it’s been babied. She is only selling simply because she needs the cash as times are tough. Depending on how you drive you can get about 24 mpg highway. As you know this has a great performing V-6 with a smooth shifting automatic transmission. The Lexus ES is luxury at it’s finest, you can put the car is drive and go no matter what season. All of the electronics work great including the 6 disk cd changer and cruise control. There have never been any major issues with the vehicle and she just put new rear brake pads on for inspection.
This Lexus is literally as perfect as you can get used. As you see in the pictures it is a clean vehicle and has the hard to find two tone paint silver on bottom and black on top. The car is all stock and basically just needs a new owner. It is priced to sell.
She recently had a knock and o2 sensor put in last week. She wanted to ensure the vehicle was perfect for the next owner. That cost around $600.

Thanks man! I drove it today back from our families in rochester and I have to say I like it… Sadly I refuse to own an automatic.
Someone from Virginia offered, $5,300 do you guys think I should take it? I just know she needs the money but I don’t want to “give” the car away at the same time.
$5300 is low for that car, especially with that mileage. I was offered $5,500 for my 01 with 192k miles by a guy at a coffee shop i go to a lot, but i don’t plan on getting rid of my car any time soon. These cars aren’t the quickest, but for daily drivers or long distance driving they are great, coming back from Boston my car got 30 mpg. Just a quick question, did you get this car at Bittermans Automotive on Transit?
Yeah, she got this on bittermans. It was some guys personal vehicle that was friends with the manager. We had our mechanic check it out before we bought and it really was perfect other then some body issues.
She needs the cash, so I took the offer. I told her i could have an offer of $200-800 more depending on the right buyer but we’re behind on the mortgage even though I help out.

And don’t get me started on people from Craigslist. A lot were no shows, some made horrible offers of $3000, or were very shady wanting to make payments.
eBay was full of scammers and one guy who wanted me to ship for free, when I disclosed it was buyers reliability.
