$2500

I can vouch for this, it’s pretty clean especially for being an '01.

Bump for a good seller as well!

thanks buddy, i rode it at the pit the other day once it warmed up ran like a champ, lots of power but it doesnt want to idle, it needs to be jetted again after the rebuild…

these things are animals…i would love to have this but i have no monies GLWS

They never want to idle.

This is true.

$2000 cash someone buy it!!! need gone asap

Bump for a sick price cut!

If you want to sell some of the spare parts, lmk. I maybe interested in the plastic, etc.

Should move quickly at that price.

I think im going to put the limited edition plastics on it, but i have some other nice parts…

chrome boost bottle
powder coated black rear sprocket hub/rear brake pedal new
RH fmf pipe new
inline coolent cooler

let me know if you want any of that i might have some other shit too

except for the fact that it doesnt move at all, wont even start now. I dont wana sell it knowing it wont run so im going to rip the motor apart again and see whats up… i kind of dout it but i think hunts bored it too big, its very low on compression even though everything is new??? i shall see but im taking it off cl for a bit.

that sucks man, GL with it. hopefully its something simple and you can fix then flip it quick

Yea I am pretty set on those parts so far. Let me know if you run across anything else.

How far was it bored? Mines .40 over with a Vito’s port and polish. They can go pretty far before loosing compression, especially if you recently had the top end done.

its 1mm over bore which is .040… think i messed up the ring gap so i ordered new rings for it should be here tuesday so well see how it goes, only took me like 15 min to pull everything apart lol soo easy to work on

yea, I have to pull my lower end out, somethings not sitting right in there still. They make it a lot easier by splitting the cases horizontally rather then vertically.

Did you happen to reset the carbs after the rebuild? Just wondering since it didn’t want to idle from the start.

It used to idle fine before the kid blew it up. I didnt touch the carbs, should they be jetted again since its a bigger bore?

Did you find out if the rings are supposed to be doubled up on the piston and not 1 on top and 1 on bottom like you had it before?

The rings don’t get doubled. Theres two rings per piston, and they don’t get gapped. There already made to fit the specific cylinder size. Not to mention there notched to fit around the positioning pin on the piston anyways.

I would try adjusting the carbs a bit. You really shouldn’t need to rejet them, unless they were never jetted for the pipes. You may just have to riching them up a bit more.

The stock piston had the 2 rings on the top and nothing on the bottom notch. Brian has it 1 ring on the top notch and 1 on the bottom.

Then someone fucked up the first rebuild. That’s why theres two slots for the two rings.
