2002 Chevy Blazer

Hey guys ive got a 2002 Chevy Blazer(Black)
The good: 4wd, Tow Package, 80k Miles, American Racing rims, Clean interior, Sony Xplod Deck with Pioneer 12" with a Lawson 300W Amp. New front brakes, Slotted rotors. General Grabber Tires.
The bad: The car needs a motor. Spun a rod bearing.

1500 OBO…Gotta get rid of it

what engine??? i assume its a 4.3 v6

Yeah 4.3 V6 Vortec…I can get my hands on the cold air that goes with this blown motor but i assume that no ones gonna need it for a blown motor

do you have any pics???

The only problem with that s10 motor is it wont bolt up, Gotta be the same year from what im told… Im working on taking the pics off my phone at the moment

in an attempt to make money is it possibly that chevrolet decided to make more than 1 motor from 96-03 the same bolt pattern??? just sayin

Not sure but im told it wont fit unless its a 2002 motor

what doesn’t work the motor mounts or the trans bolts???trans bolts shud be the same unless they changed the trans…shud be a 700r4 or 4lsumething e…paging reckone hed know about this crap

Heres a pic

looks sharp u shud fix it book is like 4500 man…just not my cup of tee really…

Yeah if i had the money to drop into a motor id put one in and then sell it after that… however im lookin to get my hands on a little 4banger… Body is in great shape

The motors are interchangeable. BUT you just need one with a aluminum oil pan. I believe 98+ are all aluminum.

Pic of the CAI? I could use it on my Blazer.

Also if you decide to part it out, LMK I would buy quite a bit of it.

Truck is cleaned and ready to go. Gimme a ring 5182091333

My '96 had an aluminum oil pan and it also spun a bearing. Good motors are hard to find because the 4.3 is a POS from '96 up.

theres no such thing as a 95+ 4 cylinder blazer, unless someone did it them self of course.

motor can be swapped. but to make sure check the vin. if you have a “w” vortec motor then any “w” vortec motor from 96-02 SHOULD work.

add me to the list for the part out, depending on prices i may take a bunch of things also.

Actually you could use any 4.3 lower end, swap the intake and heads since the 96+ ones are better anyways, and throw a alum pan on it and your good to go.

The only difference between the bell housings is because they went to that alum pan.

that could also be done for sure.
