Bike was bought from an adult rider with 9,100 miles on it. EFI 900SS. Always serviced from Phibbs. I bought it and stripped it down completely as soon as I got it to the shop. The frame was smoothed out, welded in a custom battery box that hides the battery, coils and ecu up inside and under the gas tank out of sight. Then the tail section from a yamaha R6 was fit on the frame, along with the stock R6 seat. It has the original Ducati SS tank and front fender. SV650 single headlight on a custom tig welded mount. Also a custom mount was made for LED front low profile signals that bolt below the light on the lower triple. All the body work was painted in a pearl white. There is one small nick and fuel vapor stain on the tank. If the new owner wants I can work out a respray on all the white parts in any color they want. A KOSO digital gauge was wired in place of the original analog ducati gauges. Speedometer hasn’t been hooked up yet but will be included. Everything gold or black was powercoated in house at my shop. Exhaust was custom made from scratch including the 2 into 1 stainless gp style muffler. The exhaust sounds incredible. I get so many compliments from the sound, thumbs up all the time from other riders and cars when I am in traffic too! Motor is all stock, valves were adjusted this season, as well as the timing belt. Has K&N pod filters and a PowerCommander. The bike runs great, is super strong and an absolute blast to ride. Only reason I am selling it is I want to build another one!
Clif notes on the mods:
-Custom R6 tail and seat with integrated LED stop, turn and tail. Painted pearl white.
-Aluminum plate bracket powdercoated black with white LED plate lights.
-SV650 front headlight with custom LED signals.
-Frame smoothed out, swing arm, clipons, axle adjusters and gas tank filler were powdercoated in a custom gold, with heavy gold flake and extra clear.
-Stator cover, Clutch covers, clutch and brake levers, rear brake lever, shifter levers, rear sets, triple tree, rear coil spring and more were powdercoated in a black with gold flake and extra clear.
-Custom 1.5" 2 into 1 exhaust into custom made baffled and packed gp style muffler, powdercoated in high temp black.
-Walbro fuel pump in-tank. Aluminum inline external fuel filter.
-K&N Pod filters on the throttle bodies.
-Power Commander USB
-Brakes, chain and sprockets are in good shape, ready to ride.
-Front tire is decent, back needs to be replaced soon. I was going to do the tires and powdercoat the wheels to match the black parts but would rather start another bike build.
Only reason for selling, I want to build another bike! I don’t need to sell it, and I love throwing a leg over this one, but I love building bikes
