2002 Volkswagen Jetta GLS 1.8t

I picked this car up around a year ago. I got a really good price on it, but it needed a lot of stuff (as you will see) the body is about as close to mint as a 10 year old car can be. It’s in really good shape.

I do really like it, its been suprisingly reliable (as far as vws go) but I’ve been focusing too much time and money on it. I really want to get my civic and bike done.

At 179,000 The following was performed
Full timing belt and water pump service
Dr. Haenszel ecu flash (spikes around 19 psi, holds 17 or so)
SAI delete
Launch control @ 4000 rpms

At 186,666 The following was performed
G60 flywheel / vr6 clutch, throw out bearing and new oem clutch fork
R32 control arm bushings
New tie rod ends
new ball joints
new strut bearings (front)
New parking brake cables
New rear brake pads
New oil pan w/gasket (PO stripped out the bolt hole)
Transmission was flushed and filled with GM synchromesh
New rear main seal (didn’t leak but safe insurance while the trans was off)

All parts were purchased either at German Auto Parts, or VW of OP (autohaus)

Bad-
Interior doesn’t match. Black leather seats with tan interior. It never really bothered me because the dash and door cards are half black
ABS light is on for one of the front wheel sensors. Traction control also doesn’t work because of this
Airbag light on because the seats are from a older style Jetta and have different plugs.

$2900

Here is a quick pic. It’s filthy. I haven’t washed it in a few weeks lol. Still shines through the dirt…

Glws jam!

140 views and no interest?

BO! I would love to trade for a solid winter beater with cash on your end! The mileage may be high, but you will be hard pressed to find a mk4 Jetta with as many new parts as this one

Clean car and good due selling it! for how nice this thing is, its worth the asking price. GLWS joe Ill spread the word

Bump, I lowered the price rather significantly. I would like to move this car

All of the big things are taken care if. No big headaches for 40-60k probably. Little ones though… It is a VW after all…

This is a good buy. Has all maintenence up to date, and drives like a new car.

Thx Brian. (For the kind words and for doing all of the work.)

I’m probably going to be picking something else up this weekend and would like to move this. Price is BO. Also, I like trades.

Don’t be shy to make an offer if you’re interested

Trade for a Chevy Prizm?

MINT condition.

Bump, will come with studded winter force snows mounted and balanced on 15" steel wheels, and the BBS’s

Ugh, for some reason this is tempting me to offer you the ep3 as a trade

Well I would say no 2 is enough shitty Hondas thanks

Lol I hate you, idk for some reason I like this, and I hate vws idk what my deal is, glws buddy

get a grip. your argument is invalid. its a fucking stock black mk4 jetta.
